Dear Margaret. You were a much respected boss and a good friend. You became Headteacher at Ambleside the same time I started in the office. You were a huge support to me whilst I was learning the ropes. It was your insight that led to the creation of Ambleside After School Club, one of the first of its kind, and which went on to become one of the most respected out of school clubs in Surrey. Your determination to succeed, even when we only had one child some evenings, helped forge the success the club eventually became. I will always have fond memories of the meals celebrating birthdays and walks around one of your favourite places, Wisley. Of choosing Christmas Cards with robins on, just for you! Where you led, we were always happy to follow. Rest in peace Margaret - I do hope there are some good walks in Heaven for you. With love, Ann xx
